Dr. Slam also strongly believes that the non-physician team is as important as she is. \u00a0She\u00a0proudly operates only at hospital facilities that are accredited through the\u00a0National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), which helps to ensure quality surgical care for her patients. Dr. Slam\u00a0commits to care for her patients under NCCN and other established surgical guidelines for breast care and breast cancer, and maintains Surgery Board Certification. Dr. Slam is also in the forefront of advancing patient outcomes from a quality standpoint, serving as the Quality Director of the Mount Carmel Breast Program and Surgery Department Chairman at Mount Carmel East.
