During the first five years after any diagnosis of breast cancer, a breast practitioner should clinically evaluate women every six to twelve months. After five years, many women continue to follow at least yearly with their breast practitioner, as new issues can arise at any point after a diagnosis. The strength of the COSA Comprehensive Breast Center is the continuity of care that is provided to women.
